Yes! Costs are covered for travel within 60 miles roundtrip of Ellensburg. After that, a fee of $1 per mile is added. Contact me if your plans include out of state travel or the location is farther than 200 miles roundtrip.

01. Do you travel

Yes absolutely! I have a business license as well as business insurance! If your venue needs proof of coverage, please just let me know and I'll get all the proper documentation together!

02. Are you licensed and insured?

While I have photographed at some local venues, I have not been to all of them! But part of being a professional photographer is knowing how to assess the lighting at a new venue and know how to properly light it for the best result. If I am able, I like to visit a new venue before the wedding day to be better prepared.

03. Have you photographed at my venue?

I love using natural light whenever I can! Especially the beautiful glowy light we get in that last hour before sunset. But natural light isn't always enough and so I will use flash if necessary. Some wedding venues can be very dark and so a little extra light just gives it that extra pop in photos!

04. Are you a natural light photographer?

You will receive a link to an online gallery! Photos are typically delivered within 3-4 weeks for portrait or engagement sessions and within 8 weeks for weddings/elopements. From the link you receive, you can download the high resolution photos (for printing) or the web sized version for sharing on social media. You can also purchase prints, canvasses and other products directly from your gallery! If something comes up that impacts my delivery time significantly, I will communicate that with you!

05. How do you deliver images?

You can expect to receive at least 45 images per hour of shooting for senior or engagement sessions. I deliver all the best images from weddings and elopements, which is usually between 50-100 photos per hour of shooting.

06. How many images will I receive?

I do color correction, cropping, white balance, and minor touch-ups on all my photos. My edits have a hint of warmth but still true-to-life, meaning the colors and the photo will look as close as possible to how the scene looked through your own eyes. While sometimes I will need to edit a photo in photoshop, I do not "photoshop" people, which means I do not do any body changes (make you look thinner, taller, drastically airbrush your skin etc.). I have a rule about touching up photos, which is that if it will be gone in a few weeks, I'll edit it out (pimples, a scratch on your hand etc.) I firmly believe that photos should represent real life, imperfections and all!

07. How much editing do you do?

Unfortunately, I do not give out my RAW files to clients. For most clients, a RAW file would be totally useless since the average person doesn't have the proper software to open/modify a RAW file. The reason I don't give out my RAW files is because they are not a finished product or a full representation of my work. Imagine if you ordered an oil painting from an artist and they sketched out the picture and painted the background colors but left everything else blank. This wouldn't be a finished product! It's similar with RAW files, they just aren't the finished photo!

08. Can I get the RAW images?

To be totally honest, you don't want all the photos from a session! No matter the session, there are always test shots, photos that are out of focus, duplicates, a groomsmen with his eyes closed etc. Part of the cost of your session is the time it takes for me to go through and pick the best photos and edit those for you!

09. Can I have ALL the photos from my session?

Yes! I offer senior photos, maternity, headshots, and branding. Senior sessions & branding are $375. Maternity sessions are priced the same as couples sessions ($400). Please inquire about headshot prices! Near graduation I will offer cap and gown mini sessions! I will occasionally do a little commercial work (depends on the project) so please reach out for a custom quote if that is something you are interested in.

10. Do you offer senior photos?

That is a great question! And one that depends on multiple factors. Most couples book my 8 hour package but it all depends on how busy your day will be! If its a smaller, more intimate wedding, 5 hours might be plenty. Or if you are wanting couples portraits at a different location, the 12 hour day might be necessary. You can always purchase additional time by the half hour! I like to schedule a zoom meeting with clients when I get wedding inquiries and this is one thing we always talk about in that time! 

11. How many hours of wedding coverage do I need?

I take all methods! Credit cards, bank transfers, cash, check, and even Venmo through my business Venmo account. CC payments and bank transfers are all completed online in a user friendly portal.

12. What payment methods do you accept?

Absolutely! I do not want the up front cost to get in the way of your desire for photos. Please make a note in your contact form or send me an email with your questions about payment plans.

13. Do you offer payment plans?

Umm, yes please! You can bring as many fur babies as you can manage :) Just let me know as we start planning your session so that we choose a pet friendly location for your photoshoot. 

14. Can I bring my dog?

That's okay, so am I! I will do everything I can to make your session fun and filled with laughter. Instead of stiff, awkward poses I will guide and prompt you to do fun things, move around the space, or dance! We will play some music and have a good time.

15. Help! I'm awkward in front of the camera

Hooray, I'm so excited! Please fill out the contact form here. I will get back to you within 48 hours! You will receive an email that includes access to an online portral where you will sign your contract and pay an invoice. After that has been completed, your session date is officially booked!
